Founded by Dr. Brittany Dawson, CWG supports educators and schools in maintaining rigor, clarity, and professional judgment while navigating the real constraints that complicate today’s classrooms. Rather than chasing trends or abandoning proven methods, CWG emphasizes the thoughtful use of research-informed, often traditional best practices to bridge gaps created by external pressures such as policy demands, inconsistent preparation, and expectations placed on teachers.

Dr. Dawson brings over 16 years of classroom experience, K–12 ELA certification, and a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. Her approach is grounded, practical, and designed to help educators think more clearly about what they teach, how they assess, and why those decisions matter.
